Dr. Maryanne
W Ngunjiri
A Kenyan-born academic, logistics executive, and passionate advocate for African success in Europe. Dr. Maryanne W Ngunjiri has spent over a decade building an extraordinary career and life in Belgium — earning three advanced degrees, working for some of Europe’s most respected corporations, and guiding more than 3,000 Africans to make Europe their home.
From Nairobi to Belgium —
Built Entirely from Scratch.
Dr. Maryanne W Ngunjiri was born and raised in Kenya, where she developed an early passion for science, nature, and the relentless pursuit of excellence. With a sharp academic mind and a deep desire to push beyond borders, she made the bold decision to leave East Africa and chase her dreams in Europe — a journey that would define her life.
She arrived in Belgium as a student with nothing but determination and a vision. No local contacts. No pre-existing network. No roadmap. She enrolled at Ghent University — one of the world’s top 100 research universities — where she completed her first Master of Science in Aquaculture, studying sustainable food systems and marine biology at a world-class level.
“I arrived in Belgium with a suitcase and a dream. What I didn’t have was a guide. So I became that guide — for every African who comes after me.”
— Dr. Maryanne W NgunjiriNot content to stop there, she pursued a second Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management at VUB Solvay Business School — Belgium’s most prestigious business institution — while simultaneously entering Belgium’s highly competitive logistics workforce. She worked her way through some of Belgium’s most demanding operations: PostNL, BPost, and Katoen Natie, proving her strategies from the inside out.
Her academic journey culminated in a Doctorate (PhD) and a professional certification from Rutgers University (USA), cementing her standing as one of the most qualified African professionals operating in Europe today. Her career peak came with roles at Bleckmann Fashion Logistics — where she achieved 98% inventory accuracy — and then as Warehouse Management Analyst at Volvo Cars, one of the world’s most iconic automotive brands.
Today, Dr. Maryanne channels everything she has learned, earned, and experienced into her greatest mission: helping African professionals and students make Europe their home. She has already guided over 3,000 people across the continent — and she is just getting started.

European Achievement
Her Values, Passions &
What She Stands For
Behind every lesson Dr. Maryanne teaches is a deeply held belief — about Africa, about potential, and about what is truly possible.
African Excellence Has No Ceiling
Dr. Maryanne believes that African talent, when given access and the right knowledge, can compete with and outperform anyone in the world. Her life is proof of this conviction.
Education as Liberation
She pursued three advanced degrees not just for career advancement, but because she believes education is the single greatest lever for personal freedom — especially for Africans abroad.
Lift as You Climb
Every shortcut she shares, every mistake she reveals — it all comes from a promise she made herself: that no African would have to start from zero the way she did. She climbed, and now she lifts.
Knowledge Over Speculation
In a world full of misinformation about moving to Europe, Dr. Maryanne is fiercely committed to only teaching what she has personally experienced and verified. No guesswork. Ever.
Sustainability & Science
Her background in Aquaculture gave her a deep respect for environmental systems and sustainable thinking. She brings that long-term, systems-based mindset to everything she teaches.
Relentless Perseverance
She arrived in a country where she didn’t know the language, the culture, or the rules — and she conquered it. That spirit of unstoppable forward motion is at the heart of everything she does.
World-Class Qualifications
from Belgium’s Best
Three advanced degrees earned entirely in Europe — the same institutions she now helps her students gain access to.
What She Brings
to Every Lesson
Key Competencies She Teaches
The Woman Behind the Doctorate
Dr. Maryanne is more than her degrees and job titles. She is a curious, adventurous, deeply human person — and these are the things that fuel her soul outside the classroom.
Travelling Across Europe
Belgium is her base, but Europe is her playground. Dr. Maryanne has explored cities across the continent — using every trip to deepen her understanding of European cultures and systems she shares with her students.
Reading & Continuous Learning
A lifelong learner, she devours books on leadership, geopolitics, personal development and science. She believes that the day you stop learning is the day you stop growing — and she practices this relentlessly.
Marine Biology & Aquaculture
Her MSc in Aquaculture wasn’t just a degree — it’s a genuine passion. She remains fascinated by marine ecosystems, sustainable food systems, and the science of the ocean. Nature, for her, is both study and sanctuary.
Kenyan Coffee Culture
A proud Kenyan, Dr. Maryanne holds tight to her roots through food, music, and the ritual of a good cup of Kenyan coffee. She sees cultural identity as a source of strength, not something to abandon when abroad.
Sustainability & The Environment
Trained as a scientist, Dr. Maryanne is deeply passionate about sustainable living — from the food she eats to how she moves around Belgium. She believes Africans in Europe can model sustainable futures for both continents.
Mentoring & Public Speaking
Few things energise her more than standing in front of a room — or a screen — and opening people’s minds to what is possible. She is a natural storyteller who turns her life into lessons that move people to act.
Fitness & Wellbeing
Living and thriving in Europe for 10+ years has taught her that physical wellbeing is non-negotiable. She’s an advocate for maintaining energy, mental clarity, and resilience — essentials for anyone building a life abroad.
Community & African Diaspora
Dr. Maryanne is deeply embedded in the African diaspora community in Belgium. She believes in collective success — that when one of us rises, we all rise — and she lives this belief through her mentorship work every single day.
To Make African Success
in Europe the Norm,
Not the Exception.
When Dr. Maryanne first arrived in Belgium, she discovered something that both frustrated and motivated her: the information gap between Africans who want to succeed in Europe and those who actually do is not about talent or intelligence.
It is about access to the right knowledge at the right time. She had to discover everything the hard way — through years of trial, error, and persistence. That experience became her superpower. And now it’s yours.
Her online training programmes are not just courses. They are a movement — a systematic dismantling of the barriers that have historically kept talented Africans from reaching their full potential on the European stage.
🎯 Radical Honesty
She tells you what others won’t. Which countries are hard. Which visas get rejected. Which scholarships are genuinely winnable. She respects your time and intelligence too much to sugarcoat reality.
📖 Lived Experience Only
Every lesson she teaches, she has personally lived. No recycled YouTube content. No Wikipedia research. If she hasn’t done it herself, she doesn’t teach it. That’s her promise to every student.
🌍 Africa-First Perspective
Her training is built around the specific realities of African students and professionals — the documentation challenges, the cultural gaps, the subtle biases in European workplaces. She understands your journey because she lived it.
🚀 Results, Not Just Information
She doesn’t just want you to feel inspired. She wants you on a plane, enrolled in a university, employed in a European company, and building a life that fulfils you. That outcome drives every lesson she creates.
Kenyan at Heart.
European by Choice.
For all the diplomas, job titles, and accomplishments, Dr. Maryanne remains deeply and proudly Kenyan. She has never forgotten where she came from — and she believes that African identity is not something to leave behind at the departure gate, but something to carry as a source of strength, resilience, and pride.
Life in Belgium has shaped her profoundly. She speaks comfortably across multiple cultural contexts — navigating Belgian bureaucracy with ease, connecting with colleagues from across Europe, yet always returning to the warmth, community, and values that define East African culture.
She is a firm believer in balance — that a thriving career must be accompanied by personal wellbeing, community connection, and moments of joy. Whether it’s exploring a new European city on the weekend, sharing a meal with members of Belgium’s African community, or simply sitting with a good book and a cup of Kenyan coffee, she lives fully and intentionally.
Her greatest personal fulfilment? Hearing from a student who just landed their first European job. Or a family that just moved into their first Belgian apartment. Those moments, she says, make everything worth it.
